Thank You (For The Love)

How to begin to express
what’s long overdue?
How do I choose the right words
to ring clear and true?

Come and take my hand and walk
with me through memories…
They tell the tale of a friendship
destined to be…

You were the one who understood
the tears I cried.
You were there to dry my tears
when all hope had died.

And I thank you for the love,
the strength you have given me.
And I thank you most of all
just for being there for me.

Thank you for the trust,
thank you for the faith
you have placed on me.
Thank you for the tears,
thank you for the joy
you have shared with me.

Thank you for the love!

And when my life was overcast
by storm filled clouds…
You were the one that made my heart
sing joy out loud…

Come and take my hand and walk
with me through memories…
They tell the tale of a friendship
destined to be…

You were the one who understood
the tears that I cried.
And you were there to dry my tears
when all hope had died.

Thank you for the trust,
thank you for the faith
you have placed on me.
Thank you for the tears,
thank you for the joy
you have shared with me.

Thank you for the love!

When nobody else believed…
Nobody else believed.
Nobody else believed!
It was you, it was you,
Who…who…who…
Put your trust in me!

Thank you for the trust,
thank you for the faith
you have placed on me.
Thank you for the tears,
thank you for the joy
you have shared with me.

Thank you for the love!
