Still Hanging On

It’s been so long that I can’t remember
the details of how I ended up here,
but there are emotions that come through clear
to remind me we are not together.

And there are some that just make me shiver,
if I give in to Hope and pray you’re near,
for it’s your love that I both miss and fear
knowing that this penance is forever.

So I dangle where you left me that day,
naked and exposed and played like a pawn,
suspended in midair like captured prey
waiting to be skinned, but to find you’ve gone.

And though years I’ve waited, day after day,
I’m sure you know that I’m still hanging on.

Sonnet To Self

The look upon your face is priceless
You were so sure I would never learn
Of your deceit, thinking me mindless
Now it’s I who make the tables turn

Your eyes grow small to pose the question
But my brows raise to silence your tongue
How did I learn of your transgression
The looking glass tells of love unsung

Your confidence is overweening
I pity your new love’s arrogance
Not far’s the day when you come screaming,
Into this mirror, your petulance

So heed this warning, cut your losses
Keep that faithless heart in your fauces

Licentious Love Affair

A Duet for Mature Audience By Oscar A Plascencia & Kelly Lewis

Their eyes lock from across the smoke-filled room

Red lips to her flute, she drains the champagne

As she weaves through the crowd without restrain

He knew her very soul he would consume

Making her way through the throng of costumes

Bodies part, respecting her higher reign

A closer look confirms the mark of Cain

On his well-built form catered to amuse

Bows his head in respect to her approach

The sound of the clock strikes the Witching Hour

The crowd encircles them at her encroach

And guards stand by to enforce her power

She sternly lifts up his head in reproach

“In my presence, thou shall never cower!”

Eyes now feast on prospect with permission

Tracing full lips down to swells that suggest

Carnal pleasures in creamy, ample breasts

Standing heedlessly on exhibition

Her head falls back with much delectation

As he rips off her gown to full divest

She gleans his manhood as it manifests

And knows she’ll seduce him to submission

This night he’ll yield, else be charged treachery

She motions the guards that keenly surround

Accustomed servants to her lechery

Properly prepared, he’s forced to the ground

To lap nectar, sharing fluid reverie

Arousing the masses closely around

A swarm of limbs and lasciviousness

Surrounded them, making the whole room spin

“The one way out is for you to come in.”

Said she, spreading her legs with eagerness.

Compliantly takes his place with firm aim

His rampant prick elicits screams out loud

Wanton in the effects he claims her mouth

No longer caring who controlled this game

Sucking her lip, draws the life out of her

To fill her up with his exploding seed

The fire in her eyes forewarn of anger

But ’twas too late for he had done his deed

The guests aghast ceased all forms of pleasure

Whilst the guards seized him for the death decreed

Exclusive Inflictions

Hands Of Fate

A dizzying sensation
A powerful sense of doom
Dire search of causation
Dire circumstance doth loom

A sharp tightening in the chest
A restriction in air flow
Then the heart’s under arrest
Then the Hands of Fate let go

Seven years have lapsed again
Seven times a whole new man
But this here’s a brand new pain
But afresh Hope overran

The Hands of Fate take grip anew
Choking to death the Love I knew

Out With A Bang!

Did you think me mild and meek,
that I would not say a word
’bout the things I overheard
and just turn the other cheek?

Do you find me frail and weak,
to accept the pain incurred
from emotions that you stirred
and not let my heart bespeak?

This love affair is over,
I will spare you a harangue.
Need I state that moreover
my poor heart it’s last song sang.
This gun has Dover’s powder,
so you’ll go out with a bang!
