Adventure to a place
of natural beauty.
Subtract all preconceived
notions that it’s dirty.
Just allow yourself to
follow me and you’ll find
a place that’s been hidden
in the core of your mind.
Slowly undress all of
your insecurities
and you’ll discover all
of life’s fair mysteries.
Disrobe your fears and take
a moment to enjoy
the sun, wind, rain and sea
like a seasoned envoy.
Uncover the pleasures
that a naturist knows.
Reveal your true self to
all your friends and your foes.
Born nude into this world
sans troubles and care-free.
Unclad the cumbersome
and start to live clothes-free.
Strip your mind of other’s
judgement or vile remarks.
Aboard au naturel,
let your bare life embark!

I enjoyed this. I dabbled with nudism for a while but then got out of it. I like wearing clothes. Hehe. 🙂

Oscar, my friend and buddy, this is indeed a motto and pledge of allegiance for all who embrace living bare! Excellent job! And to think you kept this a secret from me! It’s no secret to anyone who follows here that I am an avid fan of your works, but this one is truly inspirational! If I were wearing clothes at this very moment, I would immediately strip them off and cast them aside…forever! 🙂 I hereby declare this poem the official new Oath of Commitment to Nakedness! Exceptional poem, Oscar! Thank YOU! 😉

I live to please. Without pleasure there’s nothing to treasure. And insecurity only spawns mediocrity. Imagine the lexicon if I were a full-time nudist at heart.

Hello Oscar. As a twenty year old member if the US Army in “west” Berlin long before it was joined back as one city, I and a couple of my friends use to enjoy going to the nude beaches. I remember that you could tell the new American males that were there as they were the boys laying on their bellies all the time. It took a while for them to relax and get comfortable enough to do more than hide certain things or not react to what they were seeing. For many of them were not well versed in the beauty of the human body. I really regret how scared we as a people have become of the human body. Great work, wonderful poem as only you can do. Many hugs 🙂

Thank you, Scottie. American (both North and South) society and culture are lost in the perpetual shame instilled by our religious guilt assigned to the naked form. Clothing is the norm. The natural state of being nude has been shamed as taboo. A sad truth. I’m glad to hear you were able to explore the beauty of our natural state, even if just briefly. Give your blue haired neighbors a run for their money and streak through the park!!!

This is exactly what I perceive that the naturists of this world think. Ahh, to be secure in one’s self and not hold on to the outside world’s unjustified notions. If only I could be like that too haha. Nice poem. :]

I love Oscars work. I also love this work for it’s content as it makes it so clear. There is nothing wrong with human nudity. There is a time and place for it, and there is times it is wrong, as I have often stated. But simply being nude is not a crime, not a sin, not an offence. The offence is what we are taught about our bodies. Are our own bodies so horrible, so wrong we must hide them? No.!!! I often went to the nude beaches in Berlin when I was in the army. You could easily tell the new people from the USA as they were the boys laying on their tummy’s afraid to turn over. Afraid to show their parts they had been taught were wrong, and also that they may have gotten a …well what ever you want to call it. Look being nude is normal, and in most cultures kids until puberty run around nude. Why do we make such a big deal over it? I can only think that we are afraid of what we have in our heads. Sad. Hugs
